Did you get a booking reference number?
How did you pay for your tickets? Credit card companies are generally very
good for helping out in cases of fraud. After all, ticketline have charged
you for a service that you didn't receive - you may need to check the T&C's
on their site. If you can get access to a phone that doesn't cost you money
then you might want to phone Ticketline rather than email them.

to 1.00pm. We are closed Christmas Day and New Years Day.
Ticketline are the sort of company that could do without bad publicity. It's
more difficult for the agent to hide behind 3rd person anonymity when you
have them on the phone. Make sure you get their name before you start. If
they give you a commitment ask for an email to back it up.

Also the venue prevented you collecting your tickets on the night and
therefore they should still be holding them. You may have to contact them
through UMSU but if the venue can't produce your tickets then that may
constitute theft. When this type of incident happens then the agents are
always keen to avoid bad publicity.

There's more in store if you need to play dirty. :)

Subject: Can't get refund for Manchester?

I ordered online and asked for tickets to be held on the door. As the
building was closed, these couldn't be collected. Ticketline require
tickets to be sent to get a refund. I've emailed them, and they keep
advising that I need to send tickets to get a refund.

I'm already out 150 quid on the Manchester trip. I'm damned if I'm
going to let them scam me out of the ticket money too. Any advice on
how to proceed?
