OFF:CD-R Finalizing

Since most of you seem much more competent w/downloads, burning, etc,
I have a question maybe someone can help me out with.
Recently, when burning a cd-r, after the cd-r has finalized (usually on
RealPlayer)
the cd won't play, and when I put it in my home player, it says 'cd not
finalized'
Is there a free program available that one can use to finalize already
burned cd-rs?
