foa, Jim, if you're reading.....you made the right move.......it is here, it
is mint, and it's tucked in with this one that I haven't bragged about on
here for at least 5 years and somebody may have forgot I own it:

*Warrior On The Edge Of Time- April 15, 1975, Atco SD 36-115*
*side one*
*st-c-753369*
*(30610) 1. Assault & Battery * 5:43 *
*(30611) 2. Golden Void * 4:28*
*(30612) 3. Wizard Blue His Horn* 1:58*
*(30613) 4. Opa-Loka 5:07*
*(30614) 5. The Demented Man 4:02*
**
*side two*
*(30615) 1. Magnu*
*(30616) 2. Standing On The Edge* 2:47*
*(30617) 3. Spiral Galaway **
*(30618) 4. Warriors At The Edge Of Time**
*(30619) 5. Dying Sea's Of Time**
*(30629) 6. Kings Of Speed*
*Atco was the label the was GOING to be used, but this record was done on
PRESSWELL records, and is different......also note the unique versions of
some songs marked*, only available to me and me alone, it seems, for now,
though some lucky fella or fellises out there may have this and not even
care, etc.*
*Last night I decided that my new man-purse and matching shoes were just too
much to keep to myself and so I went to a record shop to get one more piece
back of my Eric Johnson collection that Eric Johnson sold
off............while there, amidst swatting human flys, I noticed a new CD
issue of the only Pink Floyd album that has any real profundity to me, Piper
At The Gates Of Dawn.......*
*curiously, 2 cd's, one in Stereo, and one in Mono.......*
*question for my so very uninformed self: Why do people want stuff in
mono???.....and this translating to our old heroes themselves with the USA
single which has a mono and a stereo version of Kings Of Speed*
*well, I somewhat quickly escaped that money trap, BUT, as I was checking
out and being given business cards for I don't wanna think why, I looked up
on a shelf and my old good friend the anti-opiate did a number, there it was
again, packaged in an airy-fairie story-book, so I had to look......uh oh,
that one has 3 CDs, including Syd's single cuts, etc.........*
*Now, I am begging for a favor, since I am shaper than the sharpest knife, I
know there are actually one or 2 people here (unless ol' shuttup
accidentally frightened them away, that actually collect Hawkwind)*
*The USA 45 of the corresponding Hawkwind single to the magnificent Warrior
epic, Kings Of Speed, the one that actually contains the ONLY release of
Motor Head, as opposed to Motorhead, actually has variants.........I suspect
that his majesty the goodhearted Jim L has provided me a DJ 45 to what is
already a quite scare item, and I wish to take a suvey.....Majka?? here's
hoping you weathered the shuttup storm*
*here is a soft-porn look at my privates:*
*side 1?) Kings Of Speed, VocaL, ST-75C-30429 SP, STEREO, 45-7017 (THESE ARE
THE DETAILS PROVIDED ON THE RECORD LABEL)*
*THESE ARE THE DETAILS ETCHED ONTO THE VINYL ITSELF: (1-2 ST75C STA,
scratched out sta, -30429-1)*
*side 2) Motor Head, Vocal, ST-75C-30430 SP, STEREO, 45-7017*
*on vinyl itself, the run-off-(ST75C STA, once again scratched out sta,
-30430-1 SP)*
*please please check your singles people, and this is a rare item so if you
are a lurker and have this PLEASE do this PLEASE, email me private if not
comfortable on the forum..........and further, take a close look at the
numbers on the LP I have provided and notice there appears to be no less
than 10 unreleased tracks from the Warrior sessions.........Dave......I need
'em....If I need to come to England and do an attack on EMI, or whoever got
to sweep the cutting room floor so be it.........*
*and lastly, Look to Huw, Look to Eric........there is a future......and
maybe Trev, if he records the massive "Everybody Just Shuttup" record, I'll
try and help shop it around*
*one ps- spotting all the numbers etched on the single can be very
difficult, please look VERY close, and if you're old, use those glasses*
