Content preview:  It's easy. just look at what's physically happening. bass
  waves are bigger so when you put them together and they're a little off they
   cancel each other out easier or they make very large ultra low cancellations
   that make upsetting beats. This just does not happen at higher frequencies
   because in a way there is more room because the waves are smaller. Stuff
  down low has to be more organized. Chords on the bass need to be carefully
   chosen and the tone of the bass is also important. But that does not mean
   it can't be done. Don and I often talked about a power trio that would be
   two basses and a drummer and it would be called Air Brake. The Brain Surgeons
   played with a local group in Pittsburgh in 2006 that had a bass bass and
