That's excellent news, given how much slightly over-the-top fun
the previous Spaceseed and Bainbridge collaboration was. I'm slightly
less joyful about Bridget's involvement--her reemergence onto the music
scene seems to have been more of the `Black Elk Speaks' standard than
the _California Brainstorm_ `Reefer Madness' standard alas--but there's
no doubt that she and Harvey are currently second and third most
productive Hawks and ex-Hawks is there? First place of course to Mr
Davey who has not only had an album out every year (from different
bands!) since 2006 but looks steady to have two more out this year!
Blimey. And while I'm not so keen on Bridget's forays into electronica
the idea of her singing Arabic on an EP with Alan's backing actually
works quite well I think... Also, Davey-House collaboration can surely
only be good, right? (Did *anyone* ever hear the Jellymasters album
Simon supposedly did with Adrian Shaw?) (Gleaned almost all of this from
Alan's webpages at aladavey.co.uk, in case it's news to the readers.)

It's almost enough to create optimism about spacerock, isn't it?
Roll on new Litmus album too! Yours,
				     Jon

ObCD: Farflung - _A Wound in Eternity_ (I wish they were working at
Alan's rate...)
