Concerning "Stop the madness..",

Sorry, can't put in a subject field on this end, still. Don't know if it
shows up on yours.
from what I was told by the band since we were working with them at the time
was that "Stop the madness..." was a thing the record companies had to
comply with. We laughed when we got our pressing from the band and Chris
read me that. We'd heard them much earlier since we were sent copies (with
filler) before the release of each album. I'd always figured that message
was on all the pressings.
I realize, many who are on the list aren't Dead fans, I really have to tell
you all that last night was an absolutely amazing show. One of the best Dead
shows I've ever experienced. The space was very techno, they didn't do any
of their worn out songs, like Minglewood, and the old standards were very
fresh, and well arranged. The show was very up tempo, and the audience was
in sync. with the band. It was really very crazy-fun, a friend who can see
was leading 2 of us blind folks through "Shakedown Street,) the um,
supermarket. It gets very crowded, we managed it all right and found what
we needed for the show. I'd have like to have done a bit more shopping, but
that's all right.
Just want to let you all know, I had a good dose of therapy this weekend,
and thanks to the generosity of friends from the forum, I'll be doing my
trip to PA in less than a couple of weeks. Thanks for your indulgence.

Mary

Isn't it mind-numbing how Roadrunner somehow knew to put the "stop the
madness" messages on the Netherlands pressings of Palace Springs and Space
Bandits all those years ago???
