Beyond pulling the CD image, which shows the offending evidence, Amazon has,
so far anyway, been less than cooperative. So I thought I'd take a shot and
see if anyone might know who these people are.

for these folk?   If Amazon are acting as distributors they ought to have

Does anyone know of a company called Offshore Distributions, or Offshore
Direct?

David Unlimbo of the band Unlimbo, and currently in Akahum, contacted me
after seeing copies of the "Prahna Fish" CD by Unlimbo for sale for £40 on
Amazon. The problem is that the original record label - Polygraph Records -
has been changed to Aural Innovations. In addition, to quote David, "To make
things even more criminal they have changed the barcode - obviously by
putting their own sticker over mine - which makes the situation property
theft."

Aural Innovations has NEVER been a label. Whoever these idiots are they
obviously know who I am, and why they chose Aural Innovations to stick on
there as the label is completely beyond me. But I've worked too hard for too
many years supporting bands to have my reputation tarnished by nonsense like
this. David doesn't suspect me of any wrongdoing and we're working together
to try and figure out who these people are.

You won't see the image of the CD because after David complained Amazon
removed it, though they did not remove the listing. David referred to the
company as Offshore Distributions, but on Amazon is lists them as
offshoredirect

If anyone has any clue at all who these people might be I'd be grateful if
you would contact me off list. The Unlimbo CD is underground and firmly in
the Space Rock realm, so whoever these people are I'm guessing they are...
if not among us... not far away.
