YES..... I know the Sonic World Festival was cancelled this year!! The 2008
festival was enough of a success that a second festival was planned for
September 4-5, in Derbyshire, UK. But ticket sales were far too low for the
diehard labor-of-love organizers to forge ahead and risk taking a financial
bath. After trading some emails with festival organizer Jane Morrison, we
agreed that the scheduled bands are all great and deserve exposure. Hence,
the festival-that-almost-was show you are about to hear. Enjoy!!
