I think we are definitely in the early days of tablets.  There is much to be seen about what happens with capabilities and form factors with regards to tablets, e-readers, smartphones, netbooks, etc.  Really, "digital mobile work and lifestyle" is still in its infancy, though rapidly evolving.  Interesting times.

Agreed, iTMS is not for me.  Though, clearly, it works for some people.  But, then again, some people like asparagus, while I don't. :)

Also agreed, though I have to admit that I don't really care whether Google is reading my docs and email or not.
