Well, we arrived at teatime on Friday and didn't see one cloud until we
left at Monday lunchtime. This had disadvantages of course - I've
discovered that it's possible to get sunburn *through* shirts - ouch!

So Hawkwind played in perfect weather. We got a few from Onward, You'd
Better Believe It, Hassan/Space Is, Damnation Alley, and a fantastic
extended version of Where Are They Now?

The dancers were great as always, with various costumes along the lines
of H.R.Puff'n'stuff on Acid. The encore had them in cybergirl outfits to
go with Silver Machine. If I had my druthers though, the encore would
have been Angela Android because the costumes were perfect for that one.

The folks drinking next to us at the gig thought Hawkwind slowed it down
too much for a festival and wanted more dancable tracks but we all
certainly had a great time.

So looking forward to them in Edinburgh tomorrow. The fan meet is from
lunchtime in Dagda. That's a little towards town in the street *behind*
the Queen's Hall. It has four real ales, and some Hawkwind tracks on the
jukebox courtesy of a Mysterious Benefactor. The Boss even says he'll
let folks bring their lunch in - Indian, Korean, Greasy Cafe, Italian,
and Brazilian food are all available nearby.

See you there...
