Thanks, Ralf, I'd Looked it up by author, rather than title, voice readers,
including JAWS, are not that articulate, and annoy everyone else, and if I
hear music at the same time which I often like to do, (a certain friend here
on the list is always giving me friendly grief about multitasking, maybe
he's right. Sorry for the lack of attention to detail, and for the previous
run-on sentence, and thanks for the correction on the title. For what it's
worth, I'll try it through my Bookshare, they are pretty good, they have
more Moorcock and PKD books than any other source I know of, including
Perkins Library having searched by author I tend to doubt it. Do you, or
anyone else know, Is The Prisoner available free on-line? Growing up in a
large family I learned to be, um, thrifty, and never spent much money on
albums, I had to be extremely selective. Chris was the opposite, and if he
liked an artist figured we should own all their material, to me that was a
luxury, back then. Concerning books and vid.s, I still try to get what I
can for as little cash as possible, however, with music, for me, it's best
when I have an authentic copy that's tangible.

Over and on my way out, will be in touch next year,

Mary

Dunno if it matters, but the novel is "SLAN" (rather than "Slam") - written
by AE Van Vogt...
