This is my newly uploaded cover of Steve Swindells’ “Shot Down in the Night”, a song probably best known from Hawkwind’s Live ’79 album, though appearing almost simultaneously on Steve’s Fresh Blood album; Huw Lloyd-Langton and Simon King played on both those recordings.

I’ve been kicking this recording around for a good while. Some of the synth parts go back a couple of years, the lead vox are from the last month or so. :D My arrangement kind of steers between the Hawkwind and Swindells versions (which are, not surprisingly, similar — but, of course, also different!).
