Even Bryan Talbot used tech pens until the 90s... Robert Crumb still does, i guess filt tip for him. When John Byrne started using filt tip i thought he was nuts 25 years ago. Speaking of Talbot, a big Hawkwind fan (Indeed, his collected "BRAINSTORM" book is in my "pile" to read still - I read his "GRANDVILLE" book a couple of years ago and the main character, a Badger Detective on a animal Steampunk world is named LeBrock !! Haha)

I am friends with Bob Walker on Facebook, had many cool art chats with him. Glad he is around, i commented he should stop using tech pens and go brush and he actually has, as Tech pens are HELL to maintain and hassle, something everyone except architects or japanese manga doodlers used to use before everything went Photoshop. Tech pens have 1 line, a brush infinite.

So aspiring artists, STAY AWAY from Rapidographs, use a Windsor & Newton #2!
