[boc-l] And now... a word from our sponsor

Years ago, Dave told me, he's shy concerning his guitar playing. . I don't know if that had anything to do with the mix. He felt like he was being judged less when he played over here, and could try out new things. Things may have changed since that discussion, long ago. Traveling with HW was not only 1 of the best things Chris and I did, and some of the best times I had in life, I also learned a lot, occasionally different band members would talk with me about music theory, and the history of different aspects of music. I have heard the new light show is really amazing, that should be fun for all you that see it. Yes, a DVD would be nice, with surround, but I don't own a blue ray, yet. I understand they don't cost all that much? I shop for things when I need them. I've heard a few tracks from the new album off YouTube, I do want the disc, so I'll get that together as soon as I can, hopefully Tim will get a job that is feasible. That has been hard. We'll make it work.

I have to admit, yeah, Dave’s guitar was both awesome, and actually audible! (some tours not so much, but the two shows I caught on this one were brilliant for it!)

Plus, he played acoustic for part, and that always makes me happy…..

Yeah, a live cd would be good. A live cd/dvd would be better! (man, that lightshow was amazing.)

Hi Jill, Arin and Mike

The tour was excellent.

Dropping DeadFred was a good idea.

The sound is now much fresher!!

Daves guitar is just awesome

Haz is doing a good job

I hope they will release a CD from this tour

Cheers

Bernhard

I miss the community we used to have here as well. It seems much of that conversation and camaraderie that used to be here has shifted onward to FB.

So, onto some actual HW-related content:

Now that the gigs are mostly done for the tour; what did everyone think? Still listening to the new album on repeat? Waiting for the single?

Thx,

Arin

Thanks Terry - that was efficient! While not hugely comfortable with banning someone completely I am definitely not at all comfortable with the stuff I've been removing en-masse recently and would probably have unsubscribed by now if I could only remember how to do so! However given that this is a moderated list I would be entirely happy if there was some kind of automatic filter to stop the worst of the dross before it reached my screen and because I know this list and have been here since space knows how long, I place my trust entirely in the judgement of the moderators as to what that dross may be without destroying the integrity of this list. Here there is still a relaxed freedom and ease of reading that isn't really available elsewhere so I'd be sorry to lose it completely and it would be nice to get back to the easy comfort of reading and enjoying the occasional message as it drifts in.

cheers

Jill
