Brief problem on an ISPnet router at 25 Broadway

Earlier this afternoon, at approximately 13:45 EDT, we
experienced a problem on one of our routers at 25 Broadway,
Manhattan. 

Different customers were affected to differing degrees.

For most customers, the effect was 10 to 15 minutes of
routing instability, with the symptoms including increases
in latency and packet loss.

Some single-homed customers, those with direct connections
to the 25 Braodway POP (nycmnycz) and without a fall-back
path to another ISPnet POP, experienced complete service
interruptions averaging around 5 minutes (longer for a few).

We apologize for the problems this has caused our customers
and will do our best to avoid future reoccurances.
