ISPnet has scheduled a maintenance window for Wednesday night,
June 13, 22:00-23:59 EDT.

During this window we will be reconfiguring the electrical power
feeds in one of our cabinets.

We expect that the work will NOT have any customer impact.

[The electrical circuits are connected to automatic
transfer switches which should continue to provide
the equipment in the cabinet with uninterupted power,
when one of the two redundant electrical circuits is
   momentarily disconnected.]

[Even when one of two redundant electrical circuits is
temporarily disconnected, the remaining circuit is
   both UPS and generated backed-up.]

However, whenever dealing with this type of equipment, there is
a small chance that a brief power hit will cause a router or a
switch to reboot.

If such a problem occurs, then

   o dual-connected or dual-homed customers may see a brief
period of routing instability during a transition.

o single-connected customers will see a service interruption
      of up to 10 minutes.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

The upgrades will allow us to do a better job monitoring and
managing electrical power usage and, thereby, help us to provide
more reliable service to our customers.
