We are scheduled to start this maintenance, per schedule,
in about 5 minutes.

> ISPnet has scheduled the following maintenance window:

>    Wed, 9/2/15 23:00 EDT (start)
>    Thu, 9/3/15 01:00 EDT (end)

> This is a cautionary announcement, only.

> We will be replacing the hardware on gw1.nycrnybb.ispnet.net,
> one of two redundant routers at the ISPnet POP at 7 Teleport
> Drive, Staten Island.

> As the two routers (gw1 and gw2.nycrnybb) are redundant, we
> do no expect there to be any visible customer impact.

> During the course of the maintenance, our Staten Island POP
> will be operating  with a lower level of redundancy.

> BGP customers at this POP have bgp sessions to bogh gw1 & gw2.
> During the maintenance, they will see the bgp session to gw1
> go down and then come back up.

> The work being done is part of our preparation for a major
> upgrade in connectivity to this POP, currently scheduled on
> or about October 1, 2015.

> We will post details about this upgrade at a later time.
