Welcome to the wonderful world of Hawkwind, where nothing is as it
seems... or at least, nothing is as it is labeled. No Hawkwind album
would be really complete without a wrongly named track, a misquoted
lyric, or an altogether inappropriate order in the track listing.

Also, lyrics tend to crop up in random places, set to different tunes,
read instead of sung, etc. Music tends to get mixed and matched,
played to different tempos, have different words added to it, etc.
And on top of it all, songs get re-titled at random by incompetent
compilers (all Hawkwind compilers are by definition incompetent).
It makes life interesting for the serious kollektor, that's for sure.

By the way, a great first cut at understanding all the discrepancies
is to get yourself a copy of the cannonical lyrics file and the
Hawkwind Codex, both available from Mike Holmes, who posts here under
the name FoFP.
