Hi All esp. Keith
Glad to see the Fish review. He wasnt on rare form that night, he is
ALWAYS that good. You haven't seen a concert until you have seen Fish
doing Sunsets. A word about his band, Dave Stewart the drummer has been
with Fish for a long time. He took a few months off prior to this tour
to play drums with Proggers Camel though. Very highly rated by Steve
Wilson BTW, Squeeky Stewart that is, not Camel!!! Steve Vesantis is the
new bass player, good fretless player. JJ replaced Keith More on lead
and Mickey returned to Fish's band after doing some session work and a
solo album. They get on like a house on fire and he is clearly happy to
be back in the fold. Fish is 6ft 5 BTW, Suits was his previous album and
is not as good as Sunsets which is astonishing, indeed one reviewer
described it as the best thing he had heard the past decade. Steve
Wilson will collaborate with Fish on the next one so expect another
stunning creation. In the meantime, go and see him live, there is
nothing quite like it (concert wise!!!!)
All the best
Jill Douglas
