Notting Hill's in West London, adjoining Portobello and Ladbroke Grove. It's
always been a bit Bohemian, but these days it's perhaps best known for the
Notting Hill Carnival, which supposedly is the biggest event of its kind
outside South America. Brock actually met Turner in Holland, according to
_Rock Family Trees_, but they soon became established in Notting Hill - the
first gig was a 10 minute affair at All Saints Hall in Notting Hill gate.
And they got signed right away!!!!

"...but moved to England at the age of two. He went to school in London and
Margate [seaside town in Kent - AG], and later studied building technology at
Canterbury Tech.
"Always interested in the literary arts, he began writing and performing
poetry around 1967, and in that year formed a street theatre group in
London's Chalk Farm, "Street Dada Nihilismus". Shortly thereafter he met up
with Britain's premier space-rock band, Hawkwind [etc etc]"

Centigrade 232 - 1977
Earth Ritual - don't know!

Don't forget his novel _Hype_, 1981.

Good luck!
