LP to CD transfer

Most CD-R's come with software that do just that, some probably better than
others. The manuals don't tend to tell you much about copying audio, and I
think you have to be careful how you name the tracks. I've successfully
compiled one CD from tapes, LP's, etc., with track indexing. Since then I've
tried another 3, but the track indexing on them has only worked on my
computer's CD player. On all external ones they played as just one long
track.

Anybody out there have any ideas why this is so?

I have no problems copying from CD to CD.
