I'm sure this is also from the Greasy Truckers, Roundhouse show - didn't
Brian Tawn (or someone) say somewhere that although Hawkwind were
headlining this fest they only had a setlist of about 4 or 5 tracks and
so when they were called back for an encore they had to do a filler
consisting of a jam of stuff that they were working on at the time.

Has this been answered yet? It must be AFTER the arrival of Keith
Hale because Brian Tawn's comment in the book was that these two
tracks were included in the Acid Daze compilation to show how well
the band had adapted to the sudden change in personnel caused by Tim
Blake's departure and Keith Hale's arrival, so the tracks lie between
24 Oct 1980 and 14 Feb 1981. Looking through various track lists
World of Tiers is actually a very popular live track but there only
seem to be a very few occasions when it and Master of the Universe
are played at the same gig. I've got tracklists with both for:
Guildford, Edinburgh and London Lewisham within that date span,
although there may be others of course. It's not Guildford
(31/10/80) which leaves Edinburgh (12/12/80) or London Lewisham
Odeon (18.12.80). The latter I would have thought more likely?

This is probably being picky but on the tape release of Hawkfan 12
Brian Tawn was not allowed to include the Countdown because it was
owned by the BBC so he substituted a synth noodle called "Hawkfan 12".
There is, however, no indication where it comes from although the date
is probably around that of the issue of the tape.
