For what it's worth Brian Tawn says the following:

"Countdown is the Intro to the Hawkwind In Concert programme
broadcast by the BBC radio on 4 Aug 1973.   The Hawkwind you hear
briefly at the end of the countdown are Dave Brock, Nik Turner, Lemmy,
Simon King, DikMik and Del Dettmar.   The countdown vocals are Stacia
and Andy Dunkley.   The record then runs straight into a couple of
seconds of Hawkwind featuring Dave Brock, Nik turner, Alan Davey, Harvey
Bainbridge, Huw Lloyd Langton and Clive Deamer, with Brian Tawn saying
welcome to Hawkfan 12...then the record runs straight into...EJECTION:
This is from the 1982 tour encore and features Dave Brock, Nik Turner,
Harvey Bainbridge, Huw Lloyd Langton and Martin Griffin...."
