I know Arthur through my wife, who worked with him at Columbia in the 80's.
Besides having an encyclopedic knowledge of rock history, he's one of the
cooler people
you will ever meet.  And given the fact that his liner notes were generally
positive, and that BOC
(despite their once-great stature) is now clearly a band that needs all the
help it can get,
I'm somewhat baffled at the slagging he has received on this list and
elsewhere (esp. from the band's
sycophantic cheerleader Bolle).  All over insignificant trivia no less.
