Oh, the paranoia is definitely there - blame John Shirley.  "Hammer Back"
may be the most explicitly paranoid...  "Step into a world of strangers/Into
a sea of unknowns/Even friends, potential dangers..."  Leaving aside the
lame rhyming of "stranger" with "danger", that's about as paranoid a lyric
I've heard, at least since that Girlschool song with the refrain of "Out to
get you, out to get you"...
