greetings, folx,

thot y'all might like to see what my friend diana had to say after hearing
the "doremi" lp for the first time. she and her husband put out a punk
fanzine called "dumpster dive" [as in, "finding cool stuff in the trash"]. i
sent her a tape of that lp a couple weeks ago.
Disclaimer for the anti-piracy police: it was a tape i made for myself in
1986, which was very well-preserved....i've got like, 4 tape copies of that
lp. that copy was of the original vinyl version.

what she refers to as "your band" is das ludicroix, which axually "belongs"
to no one/everyone.

<<yeah, i guess i really needed to hear this to appreciate your band for what
it is.>>

which isn't to say that i didn't like your band before. it's just hearing the
context of what hawkwind sounds like that makes the difference.

i like that heavy bass sound that hawkwind has. i even like it because the
songs are long and mostly instrumentals for having in the background --
sometimes hearing the same short pop things gets kind of wearisome after a
while. but i could listen to instrumental stuff over and over. >>
