new in the Toolbox

So, had my first listen to the new Tool, _Lateralus_, last night.
First impression - yow, good stuff! Lots of crunch, some really
nice blanga, and of course the obligatory Tool wierdness.

A real highlight is the "booklet"... All the regular info &
such is on a plastic sleeve over the jewelcase, while the rest
is pure art, all printed on clear plastic sheeting. There's a
great spirally thing on the sheet under the clear disc tray, and
the booklet itself is a spacey adaptation of one of those layered
human anatomy things you might remember from textbooks, where you
turn each page to get deeper into the body. This will probably be
the best cd artwork of the year.
