Speaking of drummers of yore, Reg isidore on the first 2 Robin Trower
albums does a neat funk/blues amalgam.

And, K. Moon's rocktastic powers are well displayed on the remasted
soundtrack to The Kids Are Alright -- the rocknrollcircus version of A
Quick One, and the live My Wife (Entwhistles bass flattens ears too) are
STOMPINGLY ROCKTASTIC (hows that 4 verbiage?)

Caravan's drummer is very good too.
