I second that.  And if you're totalllllly taken by the 5's brand of attack,
the alive-total energy archive series next.  Though the "Human Being
Lawnmower: the maddest and the baddest of the MC5" is a good comp of that
material --
with neat liner-note, describing the difference between punks and the MC5
(or at least John Sinclair's understanding of it).

The jams, for the 5, -- I'd say be 'props'. in the context of The original
phrase, "Kick out the jams or get off the stage", i'd say they're equal to
lettin' everything go, do IT full throttle or not at all.
