I do actually need to get hold of this, if only to keep Nik in
Brasso for the sax.

I wish it could be so but I don't myself rate the chances
highly. However, I still have a full set of arms and legs so am
prepared.

I think differently to you here, but possibly because you are
not reading all the sleeve... Slattery is lead guitar, and more or less
OK; Thomas Crimble is rhythm, and he only really has one and it plods.
If I were being forced to be cruel in order to make Space Ritual as it
manifests in the UK into a viable performing unit, the first thing I
would do is persuade Mr Crimble into an immediate retirement. Trev would
be a credible replacement, but as long as it's a rhythm player rather
than a lead firebrand they're after why not grab Steve Bemand, he was
with HW only slightly less than Crimble... Really they just ought to
relegate Slattery to rhythm... replace or at least supplement Anderson
with Ade Shaw (how could two bass players be a mistake, anyway?) and
recruit Jerry Richards full-time, he guests often enough. That'd work.
Though why exactly they'd all want to do it is harder to work out.

I've seen Jim be very indifferent and then there are days when I
think fully Dik Mik's equal in the tasteful and overwowing swoosh
department... but again, here he is not the only player unless `John
"the Ghost"' who appears with them live has been relegated from the
studio, and wasn't Del supposed to be on this album somewhere? So I
think you may be crediting Jim with some other people's work here.

Alas, Nik still awaits his Phil Campbell, and if he had a Wurzel
it would badly alter the band...

Or I'll do it for you! I jest. (You jest what? I jest amended
what Mike C. said. Etc.) Yours,
