sorry for the delay in responding to your note re: the roundup '81'.

I appreciated your note. Your 100% correct about that type of southern rock being a 'dying breed'. The show you described sounded great and I'm assuming it took place over in Skandanavia? I agree that there aren't really many new bands that carry on with that tradition. Back in the mid 90's I was very close to moving down to Jacksonville Florida and starting a new band with Banner Thomas ( the original bassist for Molly Hatchet ), and possibly Artimus Pyle who requested to hear my material..That was the 'White Rhino' project. I still have the tracks somewhere. They were totaly southern, with the duel leads, boogie woogie piano buried beneath slide, and growly vocals...peace, Mike Burro
