BOC 2012

Musically good enough? Sure. Buck's voice is holding up well and his guitar playing is still top shelf. Eric's voice, however,
is a shadow of what it once was. There are flashes of the old Eric, particularly on this recent European jaunt, but those
flashes are growing increasingly dim. Allen Lanier though? I don't know. I've heard health concerns forced him off the
road, but who knows? Who knows if it is the whole story?

Is the motivation to ramp up their game still there? Albert on board would mean no more coasting. I get the feeling that
the gigs are more or less a hobby now; there's really no greater rhyme or reason to them, no greater direction.

To me it seems like the band is cursed.
Are these guys capable of "being good enough" if hell froze over and
Albert were asked back again?

I'm insane enough to think John might have been hinting at the
possible future with "the moody blues". of course "blue" containing
that d-word, that is not exactly umlauts....
How about Albert shooting to ever greater heights and taking a piss

wonders if somebody contacted him.....he did play some classic ancient
Tull that night
hmmmmm
