Losing Gillan didn't bother me much, esp. circa Burn, which was the
only time I saw them.  But I'm a gtr plyr, and that's what I listen
for, generally.  I know people who actually passed on seeing Van
Halen after Dave got booted.  Like anything mattered but Ed's gtr
plyng.  But I agree with ya an Ritchie.  Even though Steve's a
monster plyr, and I'd love to see him front his own band, Purp w/o
Ritchie isn't Purp.

Ritchie's one of the few plyrs that Yngwie will grudgingly admit to
liking.  Birds of a feather? Daniel, you and Yngwie have something in
common!
