At one point, Tower had a machine that let you punch in a group's name
and it would print all the available albums.  I punched in "Hawkwind" and
it listed about 4 albums - and they had at least 8 different albums on the
shelf!    I complained to one of the guys, and he ended up digging through
the back room somewhere and came up with a list of CDs that they could
order - at least 80 of them, I think.  There were notations by each one,
that indicated where these CDs could be purchased (only in Japan,
only in Canada, or only in the US for example).   I still have that list,
somewhere....  So Tower isn't *totally* lame!  Never been to Rasputin's.

It must be cool to have a recording of a show you've seen!  Still, I was
especially
upset by it because I had just seen a Slade/Ozzy show in SF (I've been a
long-time
Slade fan (old 70's stuff) and went just to see them).  But it was such a
mismatched
billing that Slade was boo'd off the stage by the Ozzy crowd.   I'm sure
they thought
Slade was "awful" just because of the mismatch thing...
