Alice Cooper!!! 'Welcome To My Nightmare', 'From The Inside', 'Goes To Hell'
all tell a conceptual story. 'Killer', 'School's Out' and 'Billion Dollar
Babies' are kinda based on a concept but don't tell just one story.

By the way, Alice's current shows are among the best he's ever done. Striped
down of course but the recent Astoria shows where simply stunning. Catch him
if you can.

Of course, I should admit to a small bias on this particular post.

Apart from Alice, I can't think of any US concept albums from the 70's off the
top of my head. There's a few '80s ones like Queensryche 'Operation
Mindcrime'.
