In a message dated 98-09-15 10:35:39 EDT, you write:

<< The line was uttered in the first episode of the second season of HBO's
Spawn and goes something like this:

Violator - "This world isn't about trust. Its about Dominance and
 Submission, its about power."

 Ghost in the Ruins...

... a huge fan of the animated series. >>

Oh, well, this probably isn't a BOC reference, then... "Dominance and
submission" is pretty much a set phrase, it wasn't invented by Sandy Pearlman.
For another example, if Violator were to say "Heaven forbid!" sometime, that
probably wouldn't be a BOC reference either. :-) (Not that that's something
he'd be liable to say unless with ironic intent, of course...:-) On the other
hand, any mention of "flaming telepaths" or "tyranny and mutation" or "horn-
swooped bungo ponies" WOULD probably be a BOC reference...:-)
