OFF/"rule of thumb" and other MEATY topix

I have a vegetarian for many years and a vegan for 2.5. If you go out to
eat it is difficult to avoid animal products of any type. Even in the
health food stores, unless you carefuly read labels, you could end up with
egg whites, or honey.
