I have been known to get boisterous when drunk. It's all in play though,

Way back in 1989 the gangsters had sales reps at every crossroads on the
site. Each was accompanied by a friend with a baseball bat and most of
them were wearing black ski masks or balaclavas. That, and some trouble
from Travellers that year convinced Eavis to allow the Police to patrol
onsite.

No argument from me on that. I've still kept going, but I admit I've
considered looking for a smaller festival.

Bernhard: what's happening festival wise in germany this year? Since
Glastonbury isn't on this year I could go somewhere else. Also, does
anyone reckon that the Canterbury or Norwich festivals will actually
happen? From what I hear, the government is faking the Foot and Mouth
stats downwards so they can have a June election prior to the economy
crashing. Presumably there'll then be a surprise resurgence of FMD in
the summer. Leastways that's what Hitching (an expert on FMD who just
quit to go to Canada) seems to be telling us.
