Dehumanizer is garbage!

I kind of liked it. Certainly a couple of good tunes on there, and it was
cool having Geezer back in the band. Sab without Geezer isn't worth
listening to...

Ozzy has always been alot of fun, but as far as a singer - Dio has a much
better voice.

True enough. Of all the Sab singers, I always thought Tony Martin had the
best voice, but that doesn't nec. mean he was the best guy for the band...

Someone said that they did not buy any of the post - Dio - Sabbath records
and did not know if they were any good.

IMHO, the best one - by far - is Seventh Star.
The song writing is pretty darn good and Glenn Hughes handles
the vocals surprisingly well.

Glenn's a great singer for sure. Pretty good disc. Supposed to be a Tony
solo disc, but apparently the label insisted on calling it a Sabbath disc...

Eternal Idol - is not bad, but not nearly as good as Seventh Star. Tony
Martin handles the vocals quite well. However, the lyrics and song writing
don't quite hit the mark.

Yeah, I think that's my main objection to having Tony in the group. The
songwriting suffered with him on board...

I don't own TYR, Cross Purposes or Forbidden. Anybody care to chime in on
those releases???

Tyr is okay. Worthwhile just so you can hear Cozy Powell one last time. Anything
Iommi plays on will always have interest for me...

Cross Purposes? Kind of treading water, but hey, it features one Bobby
Rondinelli on the skins, and he ain't exactly chopped liver...

Forbidden--again, a chance to hear Cozy in action before his untimely death.
And--big shocker, a great guest shot by--Ice T! The Illusion of Power is a great
combination of Sabbath and Rap. No kidding...but I wouldn't want a whole
album of it. But for one song, it's a great idea...
